With only TWO ingredients and some serious patience, this chicken comes out of the oven bursting with flavor, juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside – let’s just say there’s a reason they call it the “Best Effing Chicken”.

BEST EFFING CHICKEN RECIPE EVER

INGREDIENTS

  • Whole chicken
  • Kosher salt

DIRECTIONS

1. Salt the entire chicken to lock in moisture and flavor.
2. Refrigerate for 1-3 hours. Let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before cooking.
3. Set the oven to broil. Place the chicken in skin side up and cook for 10 minutes, rotating the chicken every few minutes. Continue to cook until golden brown.
4. Once the chicken is golden brown across the top, set the oven to 250 degrees and cook for 20 more minutes.
