To get the most for my dollar when doing laundry, I add about 1/4 cup of baking soda with half the required laundry detergent. I purchase a large bag of baking soda, and it lasts about six months. It’s much cheaper than the detergent. Baking soda is great for laundry, toilets, and countless other cleaning/sanitizing jobs.
