Up until recently, I wasn’t aware of the craziness surrounding Baby Shark and its highly animated and lively music video. If you’re familiar with it, then you know about the part where it says to “Run Away!”
Since being hunted down by a family of hungry sharks in a kiddie song is such a big thrill, someone went ahead and created a Christmas-themed Baby Shark jam. Instead of chasing down fish and human prey doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo, these sharks are busy loading up and delivering Christmas gifts.
Phew! This new edition was created by Super Simple Songs and not PinkFong, the originators of the wildly popular first Baby Shark song and video. Compared to the original, this holiday bop is a slower pace and less hyper, giving adult listeners who were maddened by the PinkFong version a tiny break.
Baby Shark has become not only a YouTube sensation, but a worldwide phenomenon, spawning a line of toys, clothes, and endless gifs. Kids will love this tune and send it up the YouTube ranks.
Viewers can enjoy watching Santa Shark swim to a chant of “ho ho ho ho ho ho ho” with his band of merry reindeer sharks. They’ve got little reindeer noses too. We don’t know if you’re ready to hear this yet, but if you are, rock along and watch as elf sharks make toys and drop them off to sleeping ocean creatures.
Now, parents, teachers, and everyone else in the vicinity of a device will be treated to two versions of Baby Shark awesomeness. Will you be able to handle it?
Is Baby Shark on your “yes” or “no” list? Are you feeling this Christmas ditty? Do you secretly listen to Baby Shark but don’t even have kids?
