By now, many of us have gotten used to slipping a mask over our faces before getting out of our cars to go into a public area. It’s been one of the top recommended, encouraged, and, most of the time, mandatory, ways to help slow and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Most of us comply with mask-wearing regulations. Heck, if it’s going to help us kick this pandemic in the bud, then we’re all for it, right?
However, there are many other people who hate wearing masks. They find it can make it harder to breathe or eat or even affect their skin. Some people think in general that wearing a mask is silly, and won’t help the spread either. In fact, some people hate wearing masks so much that they don’t think anyone else should wear a mask, either.
Enter, the anti-maskers. A group of people who refuse to wear masks were last seen in a Target store in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, chanting for shoppers to remove their masks. Of course, they aren’t wearing masks as they parade around the store.
“If an infant doesn’t wear a mask, then no one should wear a mask,” said Cristina Gomez, one of the protestors. “People looking at us like, ‘what’s going on?’ Isn’t it crazy how people now look at me like we crazy because we don’t have a mask on? I think y’all crazy for having a mask.”
“You literally cannot mandate somebody to wear a mask knowing that that mask is killing people,” she added in another post on her Facebook. “Every single one of you that are obeying the devil’s laws are going to be arrested and you, doctor, are going to be arrested for crimes against humanity.”

Are you for or against mask-wearing? What would you do if you were shopping in Target and saw this crowd?
