TMZ reports that Daytime Emmy Award winner, Anne Heche, was allegedly inside the blue Mini Cooper that crashed into a home on the 1700 block of South Walgrove Ave. in the neighborhood of Mar Vista, causing the residence to catch fire..

According to TMZ Heche is reportedly intubated but expected to live.

LAFD responded to the call at around 10:56 a.m., during which it took 59 firefighters around 65 minutes to extinguish the flame and extract the driver, according to a release.

CNN reports from a hospital source that Anne is in the ICU with severe burns and a long recovery. She’s lucky to be alive the source said.

The soap opera “Another World” is where Heche made a name for herself playing both twins Vicky Hundson and Marley Love from 1987 to 1991 earning herself a Daytime Emmy in the process. Some of her film projects include “Wag the Dog”, “Donnie Brasco”, and “Six Days Seven Nights”

Heche’s dated Ellen Degeneris from 1997 – 2000 and spoke about feeling blacklisted from going public with their relationship.

Heche’s family and friends are asking fans to keep her in their prayers.
