Amy Duggar King is asking for prayers and support as her family faces an unexpected health crisis. The Counting On alum shared that her husband, Dillon King, is currently battling what she described as “possible life-threatening medical concerns.”
In a heartfelt Instagram post on April 3, Amy, 38, marked Dillon’s 37th birthday with a somber update alongside a photo of him receiving treatment with medical IVs in his arm. The birthday celebration, she noted, wasn’t going quite as planned.
“Normally we’d be celebrating in a huge way,” she wrote. “But currently we are facing some possible life-threatening medical concerns.”
Amy, the niece of 19 Kids and Counting stars Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, didn’t go into detail about Dillon’s condition but made a heartfelt request to her followers: “Today I’d like to ask for some prayers on his behalf. I know God has him, but we welcome the prayers!! I can’t think of a better gift for him!”
The post was quickly met with an outpouring of love and support from fans and family members alike. Cousins Jinger Duggar Vuolo and Jill Duggar Dillard both offered birthday wishes and prayers in the comments.
“Happy birthday, Dillon! Praying for you all,” Jinger wrote.

Jill added, “HBD Dillon! Praying for y’all!”
Despite the health scare, Amy took time to express her love and admiration for her husband, with whom she shares 5-year-old son Dax.
“Y’all I adore this man,” she wrote. “Dax has the best dad on the planet and he’s so loved by so many family and friends!”
She concluded the post with a message of hope and strength for Dillon: “Dillon we can get through anything together.”

The couple has long portrayed a close and supportive relationship, often sharing family moments and parenting joys online. This recent health challenge is the latest in a series of ups and downs Amy has faced in recent years.
Once a regular presence on TLC alongside her famous family, Amy has since distanced herself from parts of the Duggar clan, particularly in the wake of her cousin Josh Duggar’s criminal conviction. In a 2024 interview with People, she made her stance clear.
“I have not spoken to him, and I will not,” she said. “When you just cross those evil lines like that, there is no coming back. I just think there’s no coming back.”
As Amy focuses on her husband’s health, she’s leaning on her faith and her followers to get through this uncertain time. While Dillon’s exact diagnosis remains undisclosed, the message is clear: the Kings are relying on love, faith, and community to face whatever lies ahead.
Fans continue to rally behind the family, hoping for strength, healing, and better days ahead.
