Camouflage doesn’t always have to mean a form of a green, blue or beige pattern worn by members of the military to blend into their environment. Take a clue from the chameleon that camouflage can be any color or pattern as long as it allows something to blend in and basically disappear in plain sight.

The sub-Reddit r/AccidentalCamouflage is full of examples of camouflage at its very best. What makes these examples particularly amazing is that they are all accidents. We seriously had to look closely at some of these pictures to even see what was clearly right in front of us. That’s how well these animals, people and items are camouflaged. Scroll down to see for yourself.
