So how in the world could they be improved upon? By turning them into pretzel BITES, stuffed with all kinds of delicious surprises that turn them into impressive, party-ready appetizers— and maybe even dessert! The Domestic Geek shows us how.

You’ll Need

Pretzel Dough
– 1 1/2 cups warm water, between 110 and 115 degrees
– 1 tablespoon sugar
– 1 teaspoon kosher salt
– 1 package active dry yeast, (or 2 1/4 teaspoons)
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 4 cups flour
– Large pot of boiling water
– 1/2 cup baking soda
– 1 egg yolk
– 1 tablespoon water
– 1/4 cup butter melted
Pepperoni Pizza Pretzel Bites
– 1 cup mozzarella, shredded
– 1 cup pepperoni, finely diced
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
– Kosher salt
– Marinara sauce, for dipping
Jalapeño Popper Pretzel Bites
– 1 cup cream cheese, room temperature
– 1 cup cheddar, shredded
– 1/2 cup jalapeños, finely diced
– 1/2 cup bacon, cooked and finely diced (optional)
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– Kosher salt
– Ranch sauce, for dipping
Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Bites
– 64 mini peanut butter cups OR 1 cup chocolate chips + 1 cup peanut butter chips
– Sugar for sprinkling
– Kosher salt for sprinkling
– Caramel sauce, for dipping
