6. Felicity

   This one means both “luck” and “good fortune”—so it’s a double whammy of happy.

7. Moira

   A given name of Greek origin, Moira translates to “destiny, share, fate.” This is a name that will never go out of style.

8. Lucky

   To quote a young Britney Spears, “This is a story about a girl named Lucky…” This girl is so lucky, she’s a star. And it could probably also be a boy’s name!

1. Asher

   Not only does this name sound like the perfect little gentleman’s, Asher means “fortunate,” “happy,” and “blessed” in Hebrew.

2. Edmund

   You could call him Ed, Eddie, or just stick with Edmund—either way, the name comes from the Old English elements ēad, meaning “prosperity” or “riches.” The “mund” part of it means “protector.”

3. Felix

   Besides meaning “lucky,” Felix can also mean “successful” in Latin.

4. Fortune

   What are the chances that if you name your baby Fortune, they won’t have good fortune? Plus, in French, Fortune translates to—you guessed it—“lucky,” This would also make a lovely girl’s name.

5. Chance

   It already just sounds lucky, but Merritt also translates to “deserving of fortune.” So not only will this baby boy be a lucky dude, it also means he deserves the luck he gets.
