We’ve kind of been on a potluck kick for the last couple of weeks, but with Memorial Day celebrations and other summer barbecues coming up, frugal dish ideas are most likely going to be helpful. A Year of Slow Cooking has recently come up with a great list of the top 10 slow cooker potluck dishes. Take a look at a few of their suggestions:
- Pomegranate Beef: this inventive recipe, which was featured on Oprah.com’s Holiday Food Blogger Round-Up, feeds 8 hungry people and can be served over masked potatoes if desired.
- Potluck Beans: this recipe serves 15-18 people and involves bacon. Enough said.
- Original Taco Soup: this recipe feeds a bunch of people and is sure to be a hit at any gathering.
- Honey Lentils: the main ingredient in this recipe is (you guessed it) lentils, which are extremely cheap.
