Turn No-Knead Brioche Dough Into Dreamy Dessert Pizza

What could be better than dessert pizza? How about one made with sweet, soft brioche dough you don’t have to knead? Gemma’s Bigger Bolder Baking shows us her no-knead technique in this delicious video recipe.

You’ll Need:

Dough
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 7 tablespoons butter, melted
– 1/3 cup milk at room temperature
– 2 eggs
– 2 1/2 tablespoons honey (you can also use sugar or maple syrup)
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon instant dried yeast
Pizza Toppings
– Nutella
– Banana
– Mini Marshmallows
– Salted caramel sauce

How To:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add in the flour, instant yeast and salt. Make sure the yeast and salt are on opposite sides of the bowl. Stir together.
  2. Combine the eggs, honey, milk and melted butter, and whisk together well.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix with enthusiasm for 30 seconds, until your dough looks smooth and has no lumps.
  4. Cover your bowl and let the dough rest for two hours at room temperature.
  5. After 2 hours, use a spatula to knock the air out of the dough.
  6. Cover again and place in the refrigerator for a minimum of 12 hours, but preferably overnight. It can stay in the fridge for up to 48 hours. This step cannot be skipped!
  7. Take the dough out of the fridge. Let it sit and come to room temperature.
  8. Line a baking sheet with parchmen paper. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  9. Roll out the dough on a well-floured surface until it is about 9-inches-by-9-inches.
  10. Place the dough on the prepared baking sheet.
  11. Spread on the Nutella. You can heat it slightly to make it soft enough to spread.
  12. Finish the toppings with the sliced bananas and mini-marshmallows.
  13. Bake for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
  14. Generously drizzle the salted caramel sauce over your pizza and enjoy!

So tempting, and pretty different from other dessert pizzas we’ve seen! Will you try this one? What other things would you make with the brioche dough? Which dessert pizza toppings are your favorites?
