When Australian Sonia Singh lost her job, she went looking for a project. Remembering her childhood love of dolls, she started rescuing them from secondhand shops, upcycling them, and giving them “make-unders.” She never expected anybody to notice them, but when you see the results – which she calls Tree Change Dolls – it’s easy to see why the whole world is talking about them.
