Thanks for sharing this. A recent forum comment mentioned paper dolls so I shared your link there.

I love Tip Hero and look forward to reading it daily (I've learned so much). I have never commented, but was thrilled to see the Betsy McCall paper doll link that I just had to say "what a treat, I feel like a little girl again, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!"

What a treat! The younger readers will not appreciate this as much as those of us who remember with fondness the hours spent playing with paper dolls. Thank you!

I had forgotten all about paper dolls! We were very poor when I was a little girl, so this was what I had to play with.

Teri, Thank you for this information. I can remember cutting out the paper dolls out fo the McCalls magazine when my Mom would go and get her hair done. WE didn't have alot fo money either and they made great toys for me as we traveled since we were a military family. That brought back many good memories that I shared with my Mom. I got Shiriley Temple paper dolls for both my girls one year for Christmas and I still have those in a box in the closet. They will be ready for my Granddaughter when she is old enough. She is just over a year old now. Thanks again, Anne Cooper

Thanks Teri, I'm 56 years old and have started a inner child workshop and was wondering where to find the McCall paper doll to use in class with the ladies as we reverted back to that age in our
childhood. Thank so much, Carolyn Walker

Thank you SO much! So many wonderful graphic items like this which I remember are appearing all over the Internet. The childhood I thought I'd lost is still here for me!! Hooray!!

Wow! I've always told everyone that I had been a tomboy as a child. I had SO forgotten about paper dolls. Now, I'll have to amend myself to add playin with paper dolls. As the youngest of 5 girls, in a single parent household, there never seemed to be enough money for the hottest new toys. However, with paper doll, I was able to forget about everything, and enter into "their" world. Thank you so much for reminding me of those memories.

Thank you so much!!! I was so excited when my mom got the McCalls magazine when I was a young girl! Many times over the years I've pined for my simple paper dolls, I was a very shy girl, and spent hours and hours playing with these. My own daughter never had this special "toy".
