If you’re looking for some fun, free and Spring-y to do this weekend, you should probably head down to your local National Park. The U.S. National Park Service with be celebrating National Park Week, a presidentially proclaimed celebration of our natural heritage, starting on April 19th. And as a kickoff to the event, every national park will give you free admission on Saturday, April 19th and Sunday April, 20th.

Check out the events and special programs going on during the free days or just enjoy your time wandering around a park. As the NPS site says,

Head out to America’s national parks where millions of stars light up the dark night sky, deer and antelope (and a few other critters!) play on the wide open range, and history is an unbelievable experience, not a boring class lecture.
