She Boils Skittles In A Pot. When We See Why, We Run to Try It!

When using Skittles in a dessert, some people would just throw them on top of a plain cupcake or into regular cookie dough and call it a day. Some people, though, aren’t Cookies, Cupcakes and Cardio! She takes her Skittles duties seriously, boiling them down into a syrup that becomes much more than rainbow decoration. Watch what she does with it, and see how long you can hold out before you just have to try it yourself!

You’ll Need

– Your favorite vanilla cake recipe
Skittles Syrup
– 1/4 cup each of red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple Skittles
– 1/4 cup water for each color
Skittles Buttercream
– 1/2 cup powdered Skittles (from 1/2 cup one color)
– 1/2 cup butter
– 3 cups confectioner’s sugar
– 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
