Shoebox Storage Solutions

Here’s a tip from Robbie Robinett, a science teacher from Maryland. He’s found a simple way to create some extra storage for all the odds and ends in his classroom:

We are always buying plastic bins to store stuff. I asked my students to bring in shoe boxes they were throwing out (many kids get new shoes this time of year). I got 70! Now I can put small samples and other stuff in their own little recyclable bins and they cost me NOTHING. I teach scinece so I am constantly getting dibs and dabs to store… A neat little label using 3X5 index cards and I have a neat Storage room.

Thanks to Robbie for the tip!
