Pretzel Nut Clusters Three Ways

We’re always on the lookout for great snack ideas. And the best snacks to munch on, in our opinion, are easy and fun to make but are also bursting with flavor. We recently teamed up with Snack Factory® to create not one, but three exciting nut cluster recipes that feature the crispy saltiness of Snack Factory® Pretzel Crisps® along with the sweetness of chocolate and the crunch of some of your favorite nuts. Take a look at all three of our favorite salty-sweet recipes, and best of luck with deciding which one to make first.

Mixed Nuts Clusters

Makes 12 pieces
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Total Time: 30 Minutes

Ingredients

  • ⅓ Cup honey
  • 1 Tbsp. coconut oil
  • ⅛ tsp. kosher salt
  • ¼ Cup whole almonds
  • ¼ Cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 Tbsp. salted peanuts
  • 1 Tbsp. pumpkin seeds
  • 2 Tbsp. dried cherries, chopped
  • ¼ Cup dark chocolate
  • 12 Snack Factory® Pretzel Crisps® – Original Flavor
  • Sea salt

Directions

  1. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and evenly arrange crisps “face-side” up on the pan.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat honey, coconut oil and salt over medium heat until thickens and turns a deep golden caramel color, about 10 minutes.
  3. Fold in nuts and stir until well coated. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly to thicken.* (Don’t cool too much or the sauce will harden and the nuts will be difficult to scoop.)
  4. Scoop about 1 Tbsp. nut and honey mixture onto each crisp. Place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to harden.
  5. In a small, microwave-safe dish, add chocolate chips. Microwave on high, in increments of 30 seconds, stirring in-between each until completely melted.
  6. Drizzle chocolate over the tops of the hardened nut clusters, sprinkle with sea salt and refrigerate until firm.
