Mango Ginger Chai Smoothie

This is one of my favorite engergizing smoothies. Like George from Seinfeld said, Mangos are like getting a vitamin B shot and a blast of energy. I always find ginger revitalizing and the cardamon, tumeric, and ginger all play well together. Chia seeds are optional but I like to add them to give the smoothie more clensing power.

Ingredients

1 heaping cup frozen organic mango chunks
5 Cardamom Pods, freshly ground (or one big pinch of cardamom powder)
1/2 inch fresh ginger grated or chopped
1.5 cups soy milk
1 frozen ripe banana, chopped
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1 tablespoon of chia seeds (optional)
