Make Your Own Swiffer Mop Heads

For my Swiffer Mop, I cut up old heavy weight knit shirts or worn towels, layer them for durability, and attach them to my Swiffer mop head with ironing board cover fasteners I buy at the Dollar Store. Cut them large enough to wrap around the mop head with some extra to be held on by the clips on the ends of the fasteners. (You may need to tie a knot in the elastic of the fastener or sew it and cut it shorter to work on your mop.) When dirty, throw in your wash to renew for the next mop job. Now you can mop quickly and clean up spills fast without spending a fortune on disposable cloths.
