How to Tie New Habits to Your Morning Alarm

Forming new habits isn’t an easy thing to do, and it can be particularly difficult to stick to your guns in the morning if you’re not a morning person. But there’s a free new iPhone app available that wakes you up, helps you develop good habits, and aids you in creating a morning routine.

So if you’re trying to, say, make your lunch every morning, you can tie that to your morning alarm. Here’s how it works:

When the built-in alarm clock goes off, HabitClock shows you the first habit in your list and starts a timer. When you’ve finished it, click Done to move on to the next habit. You can also skip a habit and come back to it later so that you’re not forced into performing tasks in order.
