Although they might sound complicated, pickled onions are super easy to make – this recipe only requires about five ingredients and five minutes of your time! PICKLED ONION

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 thinly sliced jalapenos
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • Sliced onions

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine all your ingredients (minus the onions) into a pot. Set the pot on medium heat and let the vinegar come to a boil.
  2. Pour the concoction over sliced onions and let it sit until it has reached desired flavor. Usually five minutes will work.
