If you’ve been buying mayonnaise at the grocery store thinking it was the only option you had, then you’re in for a treat as he shows how to make this trusty, tasty condiment at home.

I love how simple and easy making mayo really is! All you need is:

– 2 egg yolks
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 2 tablespoons lemon juice
– 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
– 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil, chilled
