Film Shows Students the Horror of Debt

Debt can be overwhelming and even debilitating. Unfortunately, people don’t realize the truth of this statement until they’re knee deep in debt of their own. Especially for those that have yet to deal with debt, like students fresh out of college, the reality of debt can creep up and make you feel like you’re drowning.

This edgy new short film entitled, “The Red” and the related program called SALT, aims to help young people take charge of their debt before it becomes, as New York Times calls it, an “insurmountable burden.” The original video is 8 minutes long, but here is the cut-down 4 minute version.
