To an outside observer with no prior knowledge of pets, our relationship with our dogs must seem pretty funny. After all, getting them well-trained is often a matter of arranging the right cues, and when it comes to our pups asking us for things, it could look like we wait on them hand and foot. (And, well, we do, don’t we?) They don’t say that dog-training is actually “owner-training” for nothing!
