I realize you can always buy bolt cutters to open these locks but what makes this device different is that you can open the lock, go in and remove valuable items, and then put the lock back on and nobody would know the lock was compromised. Whereas with a bolt cutter either the lock or chain would be destroyed alerting the owner to theft. If you have combo locks protecting valuables you may want to consider switching them out with a different kind of lock.
