I fly several times a year and I hate that you can’t bring bottled water through security. The air in planes is as dry as the Sahara desert so I always end up buying a bottle of water from one of the stores in the terminal. These stores have you cornered because they know you can’t bring a full water bottle through security so they charge $3 for a bottle of water.

On my next trip I’m going to plan ahead and put an empty water bottle in my carry-on bag and just fill it up at a drinking fountain once I get past security. I might also bring a packet of crystal light with me if I want flavored water rather than buying those on-the-go packs they sell for a $1.
