Baking Soda For Polishing Silver

Baking Soda really is the wonder cleaner. I recently found this ‘recipe’ for using baking soda to polish silver:

1. Wash the item in soapy water. Rinse.
2. Line the bottom of a pot with aluminum foil and place the item in the pot.
3. Mix 1/4 cup baking soda, 3 teaspoons of salt and 1 quart of boiling water and pour into your pot.
4. Voila! Watch the black wear off your silver.
