If you’re an Amazon Prime user, then good news! You’ll be benefitting from a new Amazon service without any additional cost. It’s called Amazon Prime Music, and it’s the new ad-free streaming music service with over a million tracks in its database.

If you’re already a Prime subscriber, you can try it out for yourself on desktop or mobile, and if you’re not yet a subscribers, you can sign up for a 30-day trial to give it a shot.

While this service is definitely a great bonus for those already taking advantage of the other benefits of Prime, Lifehacker pointed this out:

Before you [use Amazon Prime Music] though, it’s worth noting that Amazon’s streaming library is substantially smaller than most other streaming services. It’s only about a million songs and “hundreds of playlists,” pale in comparison to the dozens of millions the likes of Spotify, Google Play, iTunes Radio, Rdio, and others offer.

What do you think? Are you excited about this new Amazon service?
