When it comes to perspective, no one has more on loving and living than the elderly. They have the advantage of being able to look back on life and marriage and assessing what worked, what didn’t, and what caused the most regret. So Karl Pillemer, Ph.D. gerontologist at Cornell University, decided to interview more than 1500 elderly people to see what advice they could impart on younger generations. Here’s what he learned:
