There are so many ways to express love to your children, but Family Share thinks that there are 7 key phrases that your kids should hear every day. And in saying these things, you’ll uplift your children and strengthen your family connection. Do you say these things to your kids on a daily basis:

1. “I love you”

   Don’t go a single day without letting your kids hear these words from you. Make sure they know that no matter what kind of day it is or what happens in life, you’ll never stop loving them.

2. “You make me very happy”

   Don’t wait for a special occasion. Let them know how happy they make you on a daily basis.

3. “You are very special”

   Children should understand from a young age that they are unique and special. Get it in their minds by telling them every day.

4. “I like it when you…”

   Take the time each day to point out some positive aspect about their character, behavior, talents, something funny they did that day, etc. Your kids will appreciate the positive reinforcement.

5. “I am grateful for you every day”

   Let them know every day that they are the best thing that has ever happened to you, and you are grateful for them.

6. “I believe in you/I trust you”

   It’s important for kids to know that you trust in them and believe in them. This will hopefully help to lead them toward making good decisions in their lives.

7. “I know you can”

   Encourage your children on a daily basis, especially when times are tough.
