32 Money-Saving Grocery Shopping Tips
There are a lot of grocery shopping tips out there, and Billy.com wanted to add his two cents to the topic. He has compiled a great list of 32 ways to save money on your groceries. Here are some highlights from his list:
- Only shop at stores that double coupons. Head here for a comprehensive list of which stores allow doubling of coupons.
- Don’t buy produce in bulk. You’ll most likely have to throw some away because of spoilage.
- Don’t buy something just because it’s on sale. Stick to your list and don’t just pounce on any deal.
- Look low. Most cheaper brands are shelved below eye level, so be sure to look lower when you’re shopping.
- Plan your next week’s menu based on sales.
- Scan your pantry before you leave the house. Knowing exactly what you have will prevent those “just in case” buys.
- Review your final bill to check for pricing errors.
