3 Ways to Make Your Nail Polish Dry Faster

Doing your nails at home will definitely save you money by helping keep you out of the salon. But if you give yourself manicures that immediately get ruined, you’re kind of defeating the purpose of doing it yourself. Check out 3 tips from wikiHow for drying your nails so that your manicures last:

Ice Water Bowl

Nail polish dries when it encounters cool temperatures, so freeze-dry your nail polish with some ice water. Just fill a bowl with cold water and some ice cubes before you paint your nails. Then after painting, submerge your nails in the cold water for a few minutes.

Hair Dryer

Adjust your hair dryer to the coolest setting, then blast your nails with cool air. Just make sure you’re using cool air as hot or warm air will soften the polish and stop it from drying.

Cooking Spray

Head to the kitchen and grab that can of cooking spray. Once you’re done painting your nails, spray them completely with cooking spray. Let them sit for a minute or two, then gently wash the oil off of your hands.
