She Chops Up Watermelon to Create 3 Refreshing Treats Perfect for Summertime

We have not one, not two, but THREE treats to show you today, all from the brain of The Domestic Geek and all made from the same delicious, summer-perfect fruit: watermelon! You might think that this giant is good only for side slices or filling with tequila and rum, but you won’t anymore after watching how she transforms it in this video. We’re sure you’ll be running to the kitchen with us!

You’ll Need:

Chilled Watermelon And Cucumber Salad
– 2 cups watermelon, chopped
– 1/2 English cucumber, peeled and deseeded
– 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
– 4 to 5 mint leaves, finely chopped
– 1/3 cup feta cheese, crumbled

Watermelon Ice Cream
– 1 cup watermelon, chopped
– 2 ripe bananas, chopped and frozen
– 2 tablespoons almond milk, sweetened

Watermelon Mint Sangria
– 4 cups watermelon, chopped and frozen
– 2 limes, thinly sliced
– 6 to 8 mint leaves
– 1 bottle rose wine
– Sparkling water

How To:

Chilled Watermelon And Cucumber Salad

  1. Toss the watermelon and cucumber with the balsamic vinegar together in a large bowl.
  2. Top with the crumbled feta and mint.
  3. Serve chilled.

Watermelon Ice Cream

  1. Combine the watermelon, frozen bananas and almond milk in a food processer, and mix until smooth.
  2. Pour into a container and freeze for 15 to 20 minutes before serving.

Watermelon Mint Sangria

  1. Combine the watermelon, limes, mint and wine together in a large pitcher.
  2. Stir well and allow the mix to sit for at least 2 to 3 hours.
  3. Top with the sparkling water just before serving.
