You’ll Need

Classic Chocolate Chip
– 2 tablespoons butter
– 3 tablespoons light-brown sugar
– 1 pinch salt
– 1 tablespoon whisked egg (To get, crack the egg into a bowl and whisk. When the yolk and white are mixed together, measure out the tablespoon.)
– 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
– 1/8 teaspoon (Half of 1/4 if you don’t have a small enough spoon) baking soda
– 4 tablespoons chocolate chips (Gemma uses dark chocolate chunks)

Buttery Soft Sugar Cookie
– 2 tablespoons butter, softened to room temperature
– 3 tablespoons sugar
– 2 tablespoons beaten egg (To get, crack the egg, beat it, and measure out the 2 tablespoons.)
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
– 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
– Pinch of salt
– 1/4 cream of tartar
– 2 tablespoons sprinkles

Double Chocolate Chip Cookie
– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
– 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
– 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar (or dark brown)
– 2 tablespoons beaten egg (To get, crack the egg, beat it, and measure out the 2 tablespoons.)
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
– 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
– 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
– Pinch of salt
– 4 tablespoons chocolate chips (or semi-sweet chocolate chips)
