Since the kids in my hometown are currently enjoying (or groaning about) their 5th or 6th snow day of the school year, it seemed appropriate to talk about what to do on these shut-in days. Instead of lying around thinking about how many summer make-up days the snow is bound to produce, try some of these fun tips from Getting Freedom from Debt:

- Make a snowman or a snow family (one for each member of your own family).
- Pull out some of your favorite card and board games and make a day of it.
- Bust out the old family videos and have a marathon.
